Human Kinetics are the worlds largest publisher in the area of sports books. To view their sports science resource centre, just click on their logo to the left.
ICSSPE is the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education.

Somatotype.org - by Lindsay Carter. Read about the history behind somatotyping and learn more about this body classification system from one of the key developers of the 'somatotype'.
The Anthropometry Web Project is a pilot site for the development of a collection of digital photos of different somatotypes.

Anthropometry Software

Somatotype - calculation and analysis. Produced by Sweat Technologies, you can download this excellent somatotype application for a 10 hour free trial before deciding to purchase. With the ability to handle multiple plots this is a superb programme.
  Lifesize is an excellent anthropometry software package sold through Human Kinetics publishers. Developed by Kevin Norton and Tim Olds of the University of South Australia, it is a great tool to use with your anthropometry data. A free trial version is available at the Human Kinetics Web site.
Turnpike Electronic Publications produce Anthropometry Illustrated, a web browser based text book about anthropometry. Anthropometry Illustrated is written by Bill Ross, Robin Carr and Lindsay Carter.
  Peoplesize visual anthropometry software is a software package which gives data on human sizes through a visual interface.

Rosscraft make an excellent line of anthropometric equipment.

Cooper Tools make the Lufkin W606PM metal tape measure, that is recommended by ISAK for the measurement of girths and land marking in anthropometry. Many hardware stores can source the Cooper Tools brand of tapes if you ask them.

Futrex make infrared body composition hardware.

BodPod is a plethysmograph method to estimate body composition.

RJL Systems produce bioelectrical impedance hardware.

Tanita produce bioelectrical impedance hardware.

Biodynamic produce bioelectrical impedance hardware.
