Meeting of Kineanthropometry in Porto Alegre - Brasil 120 people attended the Kinanthropmetry meeting in Poro Alegre in Brasil. This meeting was organised by João Ricardo "Caco" Turra Magni (I Jornada de Cineantropometria) and the keynote presentation was by Franciso Holway from Argentina. The meeting also provided ISAK Level 1 certification. There will be a second meeting in 2010. For further information contact João Ricardo ISAK call for Secretary-General Dear ISAK Members ISAK is calling for expressions of interest from any current ISAK member who wishes to be the Secretary-General. Secretary-General contract position ISAK is seeking a new Secretary-General. He/she may be located anywhere in the world, but as the primary medium of communication with ISAK members is English, a strong command of the English language is an essential requirement of the role. The function of the position is to manage the day-to-day administration of the Society with particular emphasis on membership, finance and the management of ISAK’s Accreditation Scheme and Website. The appointee will need to have access to a fully-functional office including the use of a computer and certificate-capable printer. He/she will have excellent management skills, be competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher and have demonstrable experience in financial management. Reporting to the ISAK Council via the ISAK President, he/she will be able to work both independently and as an integral member of the ISAK Council. The appointment will be for an initial period of two years, with extension beyond that by negotiation. Funding will provide an honorarium for the Secretary-General and sufficient money for him/her to employ a 0.5 administrative assistant. Additionally, funding will be provided to cover all necessary disbursements, e.g. office supplies, postage, phone, internet, web and banking fees.
